Behind the scenes, I appreciated Ashley’s eye on proofs of the journal, but she was also a great public advocate for our programs at tabling events and on social media. I believe Ashley has a personal commitment to excellence in whatever she takes on.
— Erin Hoover, Editor in Chief of The Southeast Review

In the spring of 2015, I interned at The Southeast Review, a graduate student-run literary magazine based in Florida State University. I crafted weekly social media posts for the magazine's platforms on Facebook and Twitter. I also created a batch of 30-day writer's regimens, which were distributed biannually and consisted of several parts, including writing prompts, riff words, and literary passages and accompanying prompts. I also tabled events around the greater Tallahassee area promoting and representing The Southeast Review. Although it was never a challenge to endorse the magazinethe latest issue slept at my bedside every night!
